About the Carver

My love of woodworking in various forms began over 30 years ago. Starting in the late 70's I was creating hand crafted wood pieces for home decor and in the 80's I developed an interest in wood carving. However, due to economic reasons and time restraints, my passion was to take a back seat to the business I had created to make a living but also allowed me to slowly work toward my ultimate goal of one day carving fulltime. Eventually, everything came together and I was fortunate enough to be able to put my carving in the forefront. I feel blessed that I am now able to do fulltime what I truly love... working with wood. We have also integrated my wife's joy of painting into many of the pieces.
